From a young age Ellen developed a passion for real estate and finance. As a child she accompanied her parents and the family Realtor on many excursions to homes and investment properties throughout Southern California.
While attending UC Berkeley she majored in Legal Studies and City & Regional Planning. After taking several real estate and financial planning courses, for the first time she realized that her passion could become a career. The next few years saw her working part-time with marketing, events, and real estate companies to further her knowledge of all skills to do with building a dependable, client-based company.
After graduating Ellen began her career in real estate and mortgages. Soon she realized that although she loved real estate she further enjoyed helping homeowners and real estate investors realize their financial dreams.
Over the next few years she experienced the good and the bad -- she saw the joy of new homeowners and investors but she also saw the greed and selfishness of unethical real estate associates. Soon enough she began developing the foundation for Simpluxe -- an ethical, transparent, and client-based mortgage company with a green, service-oriented flair.
Since opening, she has been working hard at continuously improving client experiences and mortgage resources. |
