Tasty Hot Dogs ($)
2445 Springs Rd (Vallejo) | Phone: 707-642-2442
Recommended Dish: Hot Dog, add some ketchup, brown mustard, and
sauerkraut
Comment: Okay this place isn't exactly a burger joint, they
only serve hot dogs. But their hot dogs are tasty, tasty, and
some more tasty. The basic hot dog is best in my opinion, but
there are other options if you're interested.
The
Red Onion ($)
11900 San Pablo Ave (El Cerrito) | Phone: 510-236-9462
Recommended Dish: Any burger!
Comment: The burgers are big, juicy, and dare I say, greasy?
Onion rings perfectly fried. Chocolate malt so-so, but all of
this for under $10! A great deal for good burgers.
Val's
Burgers ($)
2115 Kelly St (Hayward) | Phone: 510-889-8257
Recommended Dish: Papa Burger
Comment: The service here is great. Nothing is served without
a smile, the waitresses have a certain exuberance about them
that just makes you feel like you're at an old fashioned diner.
Peninsula
Bonne
Sante ($)
1184 Broadway (Burlingame) | Phone: 650-342-1529
Recommended Dish: Crabcake Sandwich
Comment: The portion of sandwiches, burgers, and fries here is unbelievable. One order
of burgers and fries is enough to share between two people and still leave feeling
full.

Francisco
Rosamunde
Sausage Grill ($)
545 Haight St (Lower Haight) | Phone: 415-437-6851
Recommended Sausage: Duck
Comment: This place is known for its selection, freshness,
and tastiness of their inventive and sometimes eclectic
sausages. Their tasty delights are fantastic paired with
a light beer
next
door
at Toronado. It's the only way to eat a sausage in a bun.
Tony's
Cable Car Restaurant ($)
2500 Geary Blvd (Laurel Heights) | Phone: 415-931-2416
Recommended Dish: Idaho Crinkle Cut French Fries
Comment: This diner may not be the ritziest of burger
joints but their food is fantastic. Their crinkle cut fries
remind me of the fries we used to eat as kids and the burger
patties are made from all beef. You can definitely
taste the freshness in their ingredients.
