Credit History
A record of the use and repayment of credit over time.
Credit Insurance
A policy that most credit card companies now provide customers if desired. This pays off credit card debt in the case the borrower cannot make payments for reasons such as sudden disability, loss of employment, or even death.
Credit Limit
A limit credit card companies place on how much a customer can use. In order to keep credit scores to an optimum it is recommended to keep the balance below 30% of the credit limit. To read more about credit refer to our Credit section of the Library.
